I hate them
They're lovely. The light's perfect, my baby's smiling, my hair's behaving for once. But that's the problem, they don't feel like me. They're the polished version, the one that plays nice for the camera.
The truth is, life doesn't really look like that. It's louder, messier, more complicated. It's school runs and night feeds and deadlines. It's trying to be everywhere at once, and still finding beauty in the chaos.
That's what I love capturing. The real version. The glances, the gestures, the unplanned emotion. Because that's where the truth lives.
Those are the photos that make people feel something. The ones that matter.

Real Story.
I'm Aymie - filmmaker, photographer, founder of Mrs Mashup, and emotional magpie.
I started this business in 2014, originally offering just wedding films. Photography followed soon after, but the heart of it hasn't changed: I still believe the real moments matter most.
Before this was my job, it was storytelling. I was always the one quietly noticing the things no one else did — the nervous hands, the half-smile before a kiss, the look that said everything. That's still what drives me.

I'm here to witness it.
My style? Relaxed, documentary, editorial. Emotional, but never overdone. I'll catch the details, sure - but also the in-betweens. The things you said. The way you looked at each other. The thrill of what's unfolding.
